As part of my birthday celebrations,  my boyfriend took me out last week for a Lebanese meal.  Lebanese food is characterised by plenty of starch,  wholefoods and vegetables.  Red meat is not as used as widely as other types of meat,  such as lamb. I haven’t eaten a lot of Lebanese food so was excited to try it.  I was really glad we did as it was delicious. Here is a plate of Chicken Escalopes with olives and pickles on the side: Reem,  Bedford
