What is it? Former pizza delivery guy Florian de Chezelles and his business partner James Dare founded The Salad Project in 2021 with the aim of making eating well into a lifestyle. The Salad Project currently operates seven outlets across London, in Bank, Bond Street, Fenchurch Street, Mansion House, Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road. After a new branch opened in Victoria, close to my workplace, I visited with my colleague after hearing the hype about it. Market Halls: Eating my way through London

A few months ago, I discovered Arcade during a visit to Battersea Power Station. Arcade is a food hall which brings food, drink and music all under one roof. Fresh from my trip to the US, where I’d experienced (and enjoyed) several food halls, I was excited to see this trend catching on in the UK. I’m a huge fan of afternoon tea and have had the opportunity to try it at many different places These include Betty’s in York, Ladurée, the Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel, and the Sanderson Hotel. Casa Tua is a hidden gem just a short walk from Camden Town. This charming restaurant exudes an authentic Italian ambiance and looks inviting from the outside. Established in Camden in August 2013, Casa Tua brings genuine Italian cuisine to Londoners, offering a cosy atmosphere. This is such a homely place- apparently the idea of the restaurant was to make people feel like they were visiting someone’s dining room and this restaurant achieves that. Bill’s in Victoria: A Review
Bill’s in Victoria is in an excellent location, with great views of Westminster Cathedral and the surrounding area. The decor is gorgeous- green velvets and soft leather seating, with the homely clutter that Bill’s is known for. My top tip would be to book in advance- I went on a Sunday lunchtime and it was very busy, so I can only imagine would it would be like on a Friday or Saturday evening.
