It is the world’s largest museum of decorative arts and design, with a permanent collection of over 4.5 million artefacts. Vantra Vitro
Vantra Vitro is a small restaurant nestled along Oxford Street in London, specialising in healthy food. Everything is vegan which is why a group of us ended up there for my vegan friend Anna’ s birthday last weekend. The restaurant doesn’t sell alcohol so I drank Elderflower water instead (somebody tried the Mangoade). The food was in a buffet style, so you help yourself and then the plate gets weighed. You pay for how much is on your plate. There was a choice ranging from Thai curry to steamed broccoli and strogonoff. I really enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend Vantro Vitro if you’d like to try something healthier. …

Christmas Markets
A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to visit both Winter Wonderland and the Mill Street Winter Fair in Cambridge. The Mill Street Fair was a lovely day out, with shops and restaurants selling food all along the road. There was, of course, the traditional stalls, as well as street entertainment. It was quite busy, but not too much. My friend and I even ducked into a church to listen to a choir and have a go on their tombola. I am definitely interested in going next year!
