Bistrot Pierre, Nottingham: Something a little fancy

Up until recently, I honestly thought that Bistrot Pierre in Nottingham was a one-off. I visited a few years back, and it has stayed in my mind as probably my favourite Nottingham restaurant since then. I remembered the excellent quality of the food and how the flavour really hit the spot. The Chequers, Westoning This cute little thatched pub is about 10 minutes off junction 12 on the M1 and is worth a visit if you find yourself in the area. I really couldn’t fault this place…

    Breaded Calamari

I really like calamari,  as you can probably tell.  This was taken at a Mexican restaurant and was really lovely,  so much so that it even converted my friend,  who doesn’t even like calamari. Baja,  Bedford
