Profiteroles at Fotheringills
I thought I was going to skip pudding- I was wrong! The food at Fotheringills in Nottingham is amazing, but the profiteroles were the best out of all of them. Also recommended is the pork belly, but I decided just to focus on the profiteroles 🙂

Dining out in beautiful Bedfordshire
Bedfordshire is a really under-rated place. In a 2018 YouGov poll, 42000 people named Bedfordshire as the least popular of the 42 countries. It seems to be a country that people pass through, rather than linger in. However, there is plenty to enjoy and experience in Bedfordshire, not least the food. The Chequers, Westoning This cute little thatched pub is about 10 minutes off junction 12 on the M1 and is worth a visit if you find yourself in the area. I really couldn’t fault this place…

Carrot Cake at Signorelli Bakery
Darlings, if you want deliciously moist cake, then Signorelli bakery is the place to get it. There is so much choice when you step inside. And their coffees and sandwiches aren’t bad either. This carrot cake was sublime.
