    This is a delightful tea room situated in the former Victorian (1846) Ridgmont railway station building’s Ladies Waiting Room. I’ve been here a few times previously in 2019 and think of it as a bit of a hidden gem. With my love of anything vintage and retro, it’s right up my street.     Dining out in beautiful Bedfordshire

    Bedfordshire is a really under-rated place. In a 2018 YouGov poll, 42000 people named Bedfordshire as the least popular of the 42 countries. It seems to be a country that people pass through, rather than linger in. However, there is plenty to enjoy and experience in Bedfordshire, not least the food.
