Ribs to live and die for
I think I found the best ribs in London! If you wander away from the touristy section of the Tower Bridge/ Bermondsey area, you will come across The Kings Arms, which offered up a smashing half portion of ribs. Read my review here: https://www.weekendnotes.co.uk/the-kings-arms-bermondsey/

Anyone for gyros? Eat like a Greek at Boxpark, Wembley
This gyros from The Athenian at Boxpark Wembley was amazing! Succulent, juicy and gorgeous. Also, today being Halloween gives me the opportunity for the perfect #TBT to a divine Halloween afternoon tea that I had a few years ago. Happy Halloween!

Afternoon Tea at the Kimpton Fitzroy
London and afternoon tea are two of my favourite things, but for some reason, I had never got around to trying afternoon tea in London. My Dutch friend had always expressed an interest in having afternoon tea in England, so with this in mind, I planned a trip. I recently visited StrEATfeast at Alexander Palace, where there was a wide selection of foods to choose from. Somehow, I ended up finding myself choosing the fried chick’n burger from vegan traders Last Night A Vegan Saved My Life- not least of all due to its quirky branding and memorable name. This was super gorgeous. I think Last Night A Vegan Saved My Life has got itself…

Eating My Way Through London: Casse- Croute
After my flirtations with Greece and Persia, it seems like I’m turning back to French cuisine. Visiting Casse- Croute makes you feel like you’re dining in a French village. It may not be the cheapest, but it’s not ridiculously overpriced either. Casse- Croute, simply put, is fab. Situated in the thriving area of Bermondsey, it is small, and authentic. The chalkboard menu (changed daily) only has nine things on it, everything is in French and it feels like you’re being invited into someone’s dining room. It was a hot summer’s night when we visited and the place was crowded, despite it being a Monday (it was also my 31st birthday).…
