Side Projects
Hey 🙂 it’s Claire- the lesser spotted Claire. I know I haven’t posted anything on here for ages, but that’s because I’ve been busy with work and life admin. I’ve also been busy over the last few months working on two side projects, which have taken up a lot of my time which I’m massively excited to tell you about. One of these projects is an online magazine Little Things That Shine, which can be found here. Little Things That Shine has a range of features, such as book and film reviews, articles on self- acceptance and travel posts. I love it- it’s such fun to write. My other side…

I am very bad. …
I am very bad. I haven’t updated this blog for quite a long time. In my defence, I have been on holiday…to Canada. We visited the French speaking part i.e Quebec and Montreal. The swimming has been so good. And to top it off, it’s taking place in my closest city. It makes me giggle to see Horse Guard’s Parade turned into a venue for Beach Volleyball. Take some sand and voila… I also really enjoyed the Opening Ceremony on Friday night. I loved Beijing’s effort in 2008 but I thought this one was delightfully quirky and very spectacular. It made me so proud to be British. Anyway, I…

Weekend Notes
I have now joined Weekend Notes as one of their London writers. As soon as I saw this website, I knew I wanted to write for it. I liked the idea of a website with lots of articles on things to do in London, especially things that weren’t the usual. To be honest, any website about my favourite city is a winner with me. My first article got published last week. Here is the link:Â http://www.weekendnotes.com/tay-do-cafe I feel that all this different kinds of writing helps me develop my writing style. I also enjoy writing for different genres.
