Eating My Way Through London: Busaba, Stratford
We went to this place for a work lunch on my manager’s suggestion. I liked what I had, my manager didn’t. Make of that what you will! Personally I found the Pad Kwetio tasty but not very filling. I do have a big appetite though. My colleagues had a variety of dishes, all which looked pretty much the same size. Busaba, Stratford

January Comfort Food at Kew Gardens
January can be a pretty grim month, but this winter-warmer from Beefsteaks (imaginatively named Steak and Chips) went a long way towards helping with that. Tasty and warming- total winter comfort food. Beefsteaks, Kew Gardens

Christmas Sweet Treats
Happy New Year! Seeing as we are now on the last day of Christmas, I thought I’d post a throwback picture of the dessert table at a Christmas do at my workplace. It was beautifully arranged and the colours made me feel very festive. Looking ahead to a fantastic 2020, full of gorgeous and delicious food!

Irish Liqueur Cheesecake

Let’s go nuts for doughnuts
Great doughnuts, great company. I’m super fussy about doughnuts, preferring jam, but these were divine. Longboys, Boxpark, Wembley

Ribs to live and die for
I think I found the best ribs in London! If you wander away from the touristy section of the Tower Bridge/ Bermondsey area, you will come across The Kings Arms, which offered up a smashing half portion of ribs. Read my review here: https://www.weekendnotes.co.uk/the-kings-arms-bermondsey/
