Casa Tua review: Eating my way though London

Casa Tua is a hidden gem just a short walk from Camden Town. This charming restaurant exudes an authentic Italian ambiance and looks inviting from the outside. Established in Camden in August 2013, Casa Tua brings genuine Italian cuisine to Londoners, offering a cosy atmosphere.

This is such a homely place- apparently the idea of the restaurant was to make people feel like they were visiting someone’s dining room and this restaurant achieves that. The service was pretty good and friendly. Tables were small so it was difficult to fit everything on. However, understandably there was limited space. Due to size, Casa Tua would be excellent if you were looking for a romantic meal or somewhere cosy.

We booked about half an hour ahead- they were very accommodating and managed to find us a space at short notice. Service was generally very good and the staff were attentive.

But the pizzas honestly- they were incredible. They felt very fresh and authentic. The Calabrese pizza is highly recommended. I washed my pizza down with a San Pellegrino which made me feel as if I was relaxing in the Italian sunshine.

Casa Tua felt like an authentic Italian dining experience. I love a cosy restaurant and that was something that Casa Tua got spot on. Overall, Casa Tua offers a delightful slice of Italy in the heart of Camden, perfect for those seeking an intimate dining experience with authentic flavours and warm hospitality.

Casa Tua sounds like such a charming and cozy spot! I love the idea of a restaurant that feels like someone’s dining room—it must make for a warm and inviting experience. I’ve been so busy as a carpet cleaner, but we’re finally traveling to London soon, and I’ll definitely add this to our list of places to visit. Thanks for the recommendation!

I absolutely loved reading about Casa Tua! It sounds like such a charming and authentic Italian spot right in the heart of Camden. The idea of making it feel like you’re dining in someone’s home is so unique and inviting. I’m curious, though—how do they manage to keep the atmosphere so cosy with such limited space? The pizzas sound incredible, especially the Calabrese. Do they use traditional wood-fired ovens? I’d love to know if they have any vegetarian or vegan options, as I’m always on the lookout for great Italian food that caters to different dietary needs. The friendly service and accommodating staff are definitely a big plus. Would you say it’s more of a date-night spot or could it work for a small group of friends too? I’m already planning my visit—can’t wait to experience it myself!
